Spiritual Life

Walk with Jesus Christ is exemplified through the everyday life at Moose River Outpost. Campers are given the opportunity to further their knowledge of who Christ is through His word during morning chapels and cabin Bible studies and at night through relative and real conversations with their counselors and cabin mates. At Moose River Outpost the Love of Jesus Christ is introduced to all campers simply by loving them the way Jesus already does. Through the highs and lows of community living while at camp teenagers will have the chance to discuss and work out issues with Christ following college students in a safe and loving manner.

The Spiritual emphasis at Moose River Outpost is not limited to or confined only in chapel and bible study settings but is a three hundred and sixty degree experience for every camper. Weather connecting with a staff member on the three-day canoe trip or sharing the beauty of creation in a sunrise campers are continually surrounded not only by what God has made but by His Love as well. Staff members are trained to use every and any opportunity to connect with a camper showing that they actually care and want to show how a Christ center life style is the most fulfilling way to live. With many staff members with different back grounds and raisings but with the same training and love for Christ campers have found that there always someone to relate with at MRO.
